Orihako PDF

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-15

This policy explains how Naoki Nakayama ("we", "us") handles information when you use Orihako (the "Service").

1. Your files are never uploaded

Every PDF task runs inside your browser (or, for the agent, on your computer). Files are not sent to our servers, and we never receive file names or contents.

2. Usage measurement

To improve the site we use analytics services that do not use cookies.

3. Purchases and licences

4. What is stored on your device

Your language choice, saved presets and recipes, folders chosen for automation and the record of files already processed, and an activated licence key are stored in your browser. The agent stores its licence key in your home folder (.orihako), with, for an Orihako Pass key, the computer's random identifier and the signed pass. Passwords are never stored. You can remove this data by clearing the site's data in your browser or by removing the key.

5. Cookies

The Service's pages use one cookie, and only if you ask for it: opening a page with ?notrack=1 at the end of its address stores orihako_notrack=1, so that this browser is no longer counted by the usage measurement above on any orihako.com site (it lasts two years; ?notrack=0 removes it). It holds no personal data and nothing that identifies you. No other cookie is set. The checkout pages run by Lemon Squeezy may use cookies to process payment.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your information. Umami, Cloudflare and Lemon Squeezy process information for the purposes above; they are based mainly in the United States and may process data outside your country under their own privacy policies. We do not share information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

7. Retention

Order information is kept by Lemon Squeezy and by us for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Usage records are kept as long as they are needed to understand how the site is used.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Contact us at the address below.

9. Changes

We will announce changes to this policy on this page.
