When to use it

The IRCC webform takes files of at most 2 MB each, 3.5 MB in all when there are several (as of September 2026; check the form's guidance; applications through an account have a different limit and their own recipe). This recipe puts photos and scans on A4 pages, removes blank pages and compresses hard to 1.8 MB with margin.
