When to use it

Japan's Mynaportal application system takes PDF and image files (JPG, PNG, GIF) and limits all attachments of one application to 7 MB together (FAQ, September 2026; larger files may be compressed on their side). This recipe merges several documents into one PDF, removes metadata and compresses to 6.5 MB. Turn photos into a PDF first with Images to PDF. The final size shows in the results.
