Split a scanned bundle

One scanned PDF holding many documents becomes one PDF per document. Where each starts is found (a blank sheet, the page number back to 1, a title such as Invoice or Receipt), shown on the pages for you to check, and each is named by kind, date and company in a ZIP with a folder per kind.

Your files are never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Drop the one PDF your scanner made.
  2. The pages appear with a ✂ where each document seems to start and blank sheets faded. Press a ✂ between two pages to add or remove a cut; press a page to leave it out or take it back.
  3. Press Run: one PDF per document, named like Invoice_20260930_Company, in a ZIP with a folder per kind.

Questions and answers

How does it find where a document starts?

From what the pages show: a blank separator sheet, a page number that starts again at 1, a large title (Invoice, Receipt, Quote, Contract, Delivery note, Purchase order), or a page laid out unlike the one before. It can be wrong, so every cut is shown on the pages before anything is split.

My scanner's PDF has no text. Does it still work?

Yes: the pages are read with text recognition (OCR) in your browser first, which takes a little while and asks before downloading the reading data once. Blank sheets are found without it.

Can it do this every day by itself?

Free: one bundle at a time on this page. Running it on a watched folder (your scanner's save folder) is planned for Business; it is not available yet.
