Check before sending

Before sending a PDF, one press answers "can I send this?": hidden text, author details, comments, earlier versions, personal data in the text, whether it has a password, attached files and scripts. Each thing to fix comes with the tool that fixes it.

Your files are never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Drop the PDF you are about to send.
  2. Press Run: the pages are drawn to find text that does not show, the text is searched for personal data, and the file for what it carries.
  3. Read the card: "Nothing to fix" or "Fix this", with a button per fix that opens the tool with the same file. The full report is there to keep.

Questions and answers

Does it change my file?

No. It only reads the file and gives you a report and a CSV.

Does a clean report mean the file is safe?

Not on its own. The check looks in the usual hiding places; still open the file and read it before sending.

Are my documents uploaded?

No. The check runs in your browser; the file is not uploaded.
