Is my document sent anywhere?
No. Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano) writes the summary on your computer. The browser downloads the model once; after that it works offline.
Which browsers can do this?
Recent desktop Chrome, on computers that meet its requirements (22 GB free space, and 16 GB of memory or a capable GPU). Other browsers do not have it yet.
Is the summary accurate?
It is a draft written by an AI. Check numbers, names and who does what against the document before relying on it.
